I live and work in Saltford, near Bath. Originally, I trained as a teacher, and
taught claywork in hospitals and a prison before opening my first workshop on
the North Oxford Canal. I moved to Bath
in 1999. I am a member of the West
Country Potters, and exhibit around the southwest. You can see my work at the Potters Shop in
Perry Rd, Bristol, the Victoria Fearn Gallery (near Cardiff), and the Artshed
Gallery in New Milton, Hampshire.
I also
sell direct to the public at Ceramic and Craft Shows, which you can find on the
Events Page.
The clay is rolled out with coloured clay, which is then textured and assembled into forms. These are then painted with underglazes and fired to 1170 centigrade in an electric kiln.
